I had ordered the Judge Dredd and Traveller rules from the Mongoose Publishing sale and today they arrived. Had a quick read of JD character creation and I do like the background that is generated during character creation.
I will give a more detailed review when I have finished reading both books and if I remember, bloody Uni work.
I have completed painting 3 of my Arnica Buildings. I have yet to put the doors in.
My stage coach arrived today and here are some initial WIP pictures. This is from Dixon Miniatures. I have to glue the doors on but don’t want to yet as I need to putty up the gap in the floor first. The casting is really nice, with little flash and no loss of detail.
Any way, enjoy.
The handler with the case was purchased separately along with another who stands on top of the coach.

A quick review.
As these photos are WIP they need some work to fill in gaps etc. The quality of the pieces, on average, is really good with the occasional flaw but I have purchased resin pieces from other manufacturers that were no where near as good.
As promised here are some pictures of my 500 pt Tyranid army.
I played with them on Friday night but was suitably hammered by a Tau army.
Woohoo, most of my Arnica buildings arrived today. They look gorgeous and I look forward to putting them together and painting.
My goal is to get them completed as soon as possible as I am hoping to be running demos of Hawgleg’s Gutshot western rules at GenCon Oz this year Sept 2010.
I even getting prize support and will probably raffle these off to participants each day. Will post WIP photos as I can.
